When you purchase your new Higgins home, you can be confident it has been built to the highest of standards, but to give you added reassurance all homes come with a new home 10-year warranty.
Higgins Homes warranty
For the first two years after legal completion, Higgins Homes provides a two year warranty to cover items supplied as part of your new home and defects caused by either faulty workmanship or materials, which includes:

Your warranty and insurance provider
Whilst the majority of our homes come with an NHBC Buildmark policy, on some developments we have alternative providers with similar cover instead. The warranties are similar in nature and provide a cover that runs from years three to ten covering major structural damage to your home.
Making changes to your home
Any alteration or extension you make to your new home following legal completion may adversely affect all, or part of, your two year warranty. We do not protect you against every problem that may occur and you have a responsibility to carry out maintenance on your new home. Several limitations and conditions apply.
Protection for You
Your interests are additionally covered by the Consumer Code for Home Builders, which we adhere to. The Consumer Code applies to all home buyers who reserve a new build home. Under the Consumer Code, you can be assured you will be treated fairly and given reliable and accurate information on your buying decision, amongst other things. Selling your home
The warranty is not affected if you sell or let your home, as when you sell your home whilst under warranty, the cover is automatically transferred to the new owners.
